I didn't even know that in Austria, there's a city--named Vienna before. And I didn't even understand why Billy said that "Vienna waits for us" in his song. Why Vienna? And tonight, I've just found out the reason. I searched about Vienna on google while repeating "Vienna Waits for You" song. It is said that Billy made that song after visiting his daddy in Vienna.
Why Vienna?
Because people in Vienna don't treat old people like they don't useful and exist anymore. They value the old people like they're all still useful as a part of community. And in this song, Billy just wants to tell us that we don't need to accomplish all of our goals and ambitions in a hurry. Because before the time coming, you can't even be what you want to be.
Remember that you don't have to be so ambitious on accomplishing your goal. Everything needs time. Good time comes to those who waits, doesn't it? So while you're accomplishing your goal, don't forget to have some fun. Laugh, laugh, laugh! We're still young, aren't we? Instead of hurrying, you really need to remember that Vienna waits for you.
